At Sight Machine, you will work with manufacturing leaders in the automotive, medical device, apparel, construction, and pharmaceutical industries. The platform solves problems like Extract Transform Load (ETL), information retrieval, data aggregation and analytics, factory automation, distributed computing, and security.

We place great value on professional, technical, and personal growth in an inclusive, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong can-do attitude.

About the role

As a Manufacturing Outcomes Engineer, you will use Sight Machine’s category-defining Manufacturing Data Platform to drive Industrial AI and firmwide digital transformation for some of the world’s most iconic manufacturers and technology providers, including industry leaders like Microsoft, Siemens, and Databricks. If you are interested in complex solution-finding, strong communication skills, and ever-deepening subject matter expertise in manufacturing, AI/ML, and cutting-edge technologies, please apply for this position. You will drive sustainability and game-changing results for global leaders in manufacturing and continuously develop your skills as a pioneer in the Data Era.

Why Join our Professional Services Outcomes Team

Our team is a hungry, humble, smart group of outcomes leaders, data scientists, data architects and engineers, software developers, and customer engagement managers who collaborate to solve some of the most complex challenges facing our manufacturing customers. We are laser-focused on trusting and empowering each other, solving today’s problems (while knowing tomorrow will bring a few more), and getting a little better every day.

What you will do

  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions leveraging the Sight Machine platform, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives, data infrastructure, and data foundation strategy.
  • Serve as the initial technical lead for Sight Machine platform delivery for large manufacturing enterprises and guide data architects, data engineers, and partner delivery organizations in how to drive solutions throughout the customer lifecycle: discovery, implementation, expansion, and ongoing support.
  • Conduct thorough walkthroughs of client manufacturing facilities to gain insights into their processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the execution of implementation plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of implementation projects, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet project goals and timelines.
  • We serve complex enterprises, and you will support Sight Machine’s Go-o-Market teams and Directors of Customer Outcomes in working simultaneously with client-side plant floor operations, IT, data science, business intelligence, and leadership. You will also serve as a key stakeholder in how we coordinate among those groups and work with delivery, system integration, and sales partners, inside our company and across an ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with our Sight Machine Data Science team to design, implement, and mature advanced analytics using AI/ML.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills in manufacturing technologies, project management methodologies, and leadership trends to stay at the forefront of the industry.
