About the Role
We are looking for a Legal & Compliance professional to support our growing business in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role sits at the intersection of legal advisory, contract management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that our operations, partnerships, and transactions align with applicable laws, internal policies, and regulatory expectations.
You will work closely with commercial, product, and operational teams, contributing both strategically and hands-on to legal and compliance matters, while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
What You’ll Do
Legal Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and analyze technology, SaaS, and partnership agreements, identifying legal and regulatory risks, ensuring alignment with internal policies;
- Support the commercial team during contract negotiations by providing practical legal advice and balancing business needs with compliance requirements;
- Conduct legal research and analysis on applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the business.
Compliance Responsibilities
- Perform transaction monitoring activities, including alert analysis, identification of unusual or suspicious transactions, and AML/CTF risk assessments;
- Prepare compliance reports and support regulatory filings when required;
- Conduct Client Due Diligence (CDD), EDD, including KYC, KYE, and KYS reviews;
- Support onboarding decisions using a risk-based assessment framework;
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Background in legal contract analysis and negotiation, particularly in technology or SaaS contexts;
- Knowledge or experience in compliance activities, including AML/CTF, transaction monitoring, and due diligence processes;
- Strong analytical and research skills related to legal and regulatory matters;
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong sense of responsibility;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
We Appreciate
- Experience in the virtual assets, blockchain, cryptoassets, or fintech space;
- Exposure to regulated environments and interaction with regulators or regulatory frameworks;
- Understanding of digital asset business models, regulatory risks, and compliance obligations;
- Experience working in fast-growing or scale-up environments.
