We are looking for a talented and highly driven Lead Game Designer to join our team and take full ownership of the game design process, from ideation to live operations. You will be responsible for leading the design team, driving feature development, and ensuring that all aspects of the game are of the highest quality. You’ll work closely with the Product Lead and development team to make sure our games are engaging, polished, and aligned with player needs and business goals. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our games are designed with Web3 technology in mind, and that they take full advantage of the capabilities that this technology offers.

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
- You’ll own the design vision for the game, especially around core gameplay, progression, and meta systems
- You’ll lead the creation and implementation of features from concept to live, ensuring top-tier quality throughout
- You’ll be responsible to create design features from concept and guide the development team during implementation
- You’ll create and maintain detailed design documents, including game mechanics, progression systems, economy models and monetization strategies.
- You’ll lead daily design stand-ups, oversee your team’s workload, and maintain clear task tracking and progress visibility in JIRA.
- You’ll work with the development team to ensure that the game is designed with Web3 technology in mind, and that it takes full advantage of the capabilities that this technology offers.
- You’ll collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure that the game is visually appealing, runs smoothly, and meets technical requirements.
- You’ll play and monitor the game daily, reporting and following up on any issues that impact the player experience, and will participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine the game design and ensure that it is engaging and fun.
- You’ll stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and use this knowledge to inform your design decisions.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- At least 5 years of experience in Meta/Systems Design, with a track record of delivering successful mobile games.
- Experience leading or mentoring other designers and owning feature delivery end to end.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all aspects of the game design are polished and engaging.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Self starter and proactive approach.
- Ability to perform outstanding competitor benchmarks, extracting key takeaways and applying them efficiently to our game.
- Ability to break down complex designs into small, easily measurable changes. Having a data-driven mindset is critical to the success of this role.
- Excellent English to communicate with our international team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- A passion for gaming and a desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile game design.
- Experience, knowledge or strong interest about the Web3 space.
