About The Role

We are hiring a Director – Finance to lead taxation and controllership for a fast-scaling crypto exchange and brokerage. This role will drive robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and tax excellence in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) to assess business performance

• Manage month-end book closure and support group-level consolidation

• Work closely with external auditors to ensure timely audit closure

• Analyze financial data and present insights to senior management & Directors

• Lead audit coordination (statutory & internal) end-to-end

• Ensure clean books through GL scrutiny, reconciliations, and schedules

• Drive MIS and investor’s reporting, variance analysis, and actionable financial insights

• Partner with business teams to improve processes and drive automation

What You Should Have:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong financial reporting experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, month-end closing, and executive reporting

• Strong expertise in financial statements, audits, and book closure

• Solid understanding of Ind AS and reporting standards

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills

• High ownership, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup

• Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset

Good to Have:

• Startup/fintech experience

• Exposure to multi-entity structures and consolidation

• Process improvement or automation mindset
