ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT desktop support to internal users, including laptops, operating systems, office software, and common peripherals.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and macOS devices.
  • Support basic office IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, printers, and meeting room equipment.
  • Assist with basic operation and maintenance of Linux systems, including routine tasks and access management.
  • Support basic firewall configuration, maintenance, and daily checks under guidance.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining basic IT security measures, including account access control, endpoint security, and security best practices.
  • Handle IT-related requests through the ticketing system and follow up until resolution.
  • Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including device and account setup and recovery.
  • Maintain basic IT asset records and assist with inventory management.
  • Provide support for other IT and infrastructure-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of IT support / desktop support experience are welcome.
  • Familiar with Windows and macOS operating systems and common troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems and common commands.
  • Basic understanding of firewalls and their general concepts; able to perform simple configuration or troubleshooting under guidance.
  • Basic understanding of network security protocols and concepts, such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and VPN.
  • Good command of Mandarin for daily communication with internal stakeholders; Cantonese or English proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good service mindset, and willingness to learn.
