About This Role:

In this role, you’ll be a cornerstone of our IT operations 🌟, acting as the second line of support for

complex technical issues and taking ownership of our core IT systems πŸ’». We’re seeking an engineer

with a creative problem-solving 🧩 and automation-first mindset πŸ€–, excited to build and refine processes

using low-code platforms like Okta Workflows and Zapier. Your responsibilities will span system

administration, SaaS management, and IT security, ensuring our hardware and software ecosystem runs

securely and efficiently, with a strong focus on IT security. Work night shifts (PST timezone) πŸŒ™πŸ• in a

fully remote environment 🌐 while helping maintain a secure, scalable IT environment πŸ” that empowers

Please note, this is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the option to convert to full-time after 3–6 months.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● ⚑ Ensure an exceptional level of IT system performance and provide top-notch support to users.

● πŸ€– Adopt an automation-first mindset, creatively solve problems, and build solutions

independently or with guidance.

● 🌟 Ensure a frictionless experience for all users, regardless of technical expertise.

● ️ Resolve tickets as the second line of troubleshooting.

● πŸ’» Manage, maintain, and streamline our tech stack, from identity to endpoint (Okta, Google

Workspace, Rippling, Intune, and more).

● πŸ“ Write documentation, log changes, and keep stakeholders informed.

● πŸ” Develop business continuity procedures and maintain data backups.

● πŸš€ Directly contribute to employee productivity and satisfaction by ensuring a stable and efficient

IT environment.

● 🌍 Support global remote onboardings & offboardings while strictly following processes.

● πŸ€– Build and maintain Slack automations to streamline IT workflows.

Skills Required:

● πŸŽ“ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent

experience.

● πŸ’» 4+ years of IT experience, particularly in Helpdesk, Specialist, or Systems Administration

roles.

● ️ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex

information from multiple perspectives.

● ️ Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments, as well as working

with G Suite and Microsoft 365.

● πŸ” Experience with macOS MDM (Jamf, Kandji, Rippling) and SSO solutions (Okta, OneLogin,

Google OAuth).

● πŸ€– Familiarity with low-code/no-code/PaaS solutions (Okta Workflows, Make.com, Zapier).

● ⚑ Proven experience building automations or workflows to enhance productivity.

● 🀝 High level of tolerance and flexibility to address complex cross-functional issues and

collaborate with stakeholders.

● πŸš€ Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

● πŸ”§ Basic experience with scripting and coding (Bash/ZSH/Python).
