Your mission
is to strengthen and mature our internal IT audit function and team. You will help improve our IT audit methodology and enhance Bitpanda’s overall approach to IT risk, shaping it according to the Bitpanda DNA. You are experienced in performing audits worldwide and with large-scaled Tech companies in either German or English language. You are dedicated to the mission of internal IT audit being an important contributor to the quality and safety of our products. Beside the IT audits, you are heavily involved in the product development process. Your sense for efficiency, focus on the regulatory requirements, and solutions drives and motivates you. You love to travel and easily adapt to new circumstances.
What you’ll do
Keeping the business safe by leading the execution of IT audits within the Bitpanda Group.
- IT Audit execution: Conduct IT audits, focussing on compliance with MaRisk, DORA and relevant IT standards and frameworks. Participate in vendor audits particularly cloud service providers or as part of the Cloud Collaborative Audit Group (CCAG).
- Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation to align on regulatory requirements, ensure the effectiveness of IT controls, and promote a culture of compliance.
- Reporting: Draft high quality audit reports for review by audit management, facilitates finding tracking, and validates actions taken to remediate previous audit findings. Additionally support in preparing quarterly and annual management reporting.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate internal and external IT-related audits with collaboration of various stakeholders.
Who you are
- Qualified Professional: Degree in business administration/economics, computer science, information technology or a related field. Beneficial are professional / industry recognised certifications (e.g. CISA, CIA, CISSP).
- Financial Industry Expertise: IT Audit professional with a deep understanding of financial regulations, ideally knowledge of outsourcing/ICT service provider desired.
- Effective Communicator: Confident appearance and strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate on all hierarchy levels. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in German is a strong asset.
- Dedicated Professional: A Self-driven, eager to learn and adapt to new standards, well organised team player with strong analytical skills and willing to travel on an occasional basis.
