X is currently seeking an International Tax Lead to join our team. This position will play a key role in X’s global tax compliance, overseeing corporate taxes for regions outside of the US and supporting the broader global tax function.

You will oversee corporate income taxes for international regions and provide general support for tax functions including transfer pricing and indirect taxes. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management, and must be a self-starter with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong tax technical expertise, coupled with a willingness to learn and evolve in a rapidly changing global tax environment. This position will be a member of the Finance team on-site in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of the company’s corporate income tax returns and related filings for international countries, and managing related projects with third-party advisors.

  • Collaborate with the US corporate tax team and regional accounting teams to support accurate and timely tax provision preparation and review.

  • End to end management of financial statement audit of various international entity tax provisions.

  • Manage tax accounting, including reviewing journal entries and analysis of tax accounts to ensure the integrity of financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.

  • Responsible for assisting with tax planning strategy and supporting the company’s tax positions as needed.

  • Prepare estimated tax payments and cash tax forecasting.

  • Manage tax audits and maintain correspondence with tax authorities.

  • Support with inquiries from cross-functional teams including accounting, FP&A, and legal.

  • Support the US corporate tax team with transfer pricing compliance as needed.

  • Support with indirect tax compliance or ad hoc tax projects as needed.

  • Direct tax-related projects, such as tax planning initiatives, process optimizations, and the evaluation of tax incentives or opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • ACA, CTA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.

  • In-house tax experience preferred, including demonstrated experience coordinating with multiple tax professional service advisors across various projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical tax concepts to various non-tax technical stakeholders.

  • Solution-focused, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, global team environment.

  • Hungry to make a difference and work in a fast-paced tech environment.

  • Resourceful and experienced in identifying efficiencies, improving processes and setting up a global tax structure.
