Suade is seeking an ambitious and capable HR professional to join our team. We are looking for candidates with 4-7 years’ functional HR experience, ideally in a fast-growing startup or SME. This is a high-impact role that will contribute overall to the growth and development of the business.
Suade is a fast-growing fintech scaleup that helps help financial institutions automate regulatory reporting. We currently employ 100+ people across the UK, EU and Singapore, and have doubled headcount in the last two years. This role will report directly to the COO.
Objectives of this role
As Head of HR / People Partner, you will build on the strong HR foundations already in place, refining and evolving our people systems, processes, and practices to support our next phase of growth. Operating as a standalone HR lead, you will balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery — driving new initiatives while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations across the business. You will ensure effective onboarding, engagement, professional development, performance management, and retention across the company You’ll also work closely with the Executive Team to improve overall company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture to ensure that team members thrive and organisational outcomes are met.
Please note:
· This role is based in London. You will need to be able to come into the office at least 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities
Responsible for leading HR operations at Suade, including:
- Ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding and offboarding process for employees across multiple countries
- Managing the day-to-day administration of company policies, including holiday and benefits
- Acting as the go-to person for employee questions, offering guidance on policies, processes, and day-to-day people matters
- Leading employee relations matters end-to-end, supporting managers through performance, conduct, and workplace challenges
- Maintaining the HRIS as the single source of truth for employee data, as well as managing our benefits and compliance platforms
- Leading the performance review process (quarterly/twice-yearly)
- Designing and analysing employee engagement surveys, analysing the results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Overseeing the employer-of-record relationship ensuring compliance, smooth onboarding and offboarding, and ongoing support for international employees
- Managing visa processes from start to finish
Supporting COO and Executive Team with ad-hoc people-related projects, including:
- Salary benchmarking
- Assessing and updating benefits packages
- Improving compliance
- Proposing and executing other projects to improve employees’ experience
Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of functional HR experience
- Ability to diagnose underlying problems and propose solutions, as well as execute day to day
- Strong communication skills
- Confidentiality, integrity and tact when handling personal information
- High attention to detail
- A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
