About The Role

We’re looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate individuals to join our growing team as an HR Generalist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing end-to-end HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and compliance.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and ensure HR processes follow local labor laws and company guidelines.
  • Prepare HR-related documentation, including employment letters, confirmation letters, and other correspondences.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, including performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Support HR in audits, inspections, and due diligence processes.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer management.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, including coordinating IT and office equipment setup, access card issuance, and welcome kits.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and special events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as the liaison with the Finance department for payroll processing and expense claims.
  • Support general administrative tasks alongside HR responsibilities, with a focus on assisting the Malaysia office when required.

About You

  • At least 3 years of HR experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, local labor laws, and office operations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support a dynamic team.
  • Familiarity with HR operations in regions where Alta operates is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
