While mobile money has emerged as the primary means of consumer finance due to its superior accessibility and lower costs, it does not offer the financial services that create wealth and financing opportunities, which are essential pillars of long-term financial stability.
Our mission is to make banking radically more accessible and affordable, to enable millions of people across the continent to build a stronger, more secure future.
In November 2020, we launched a revolutionary financial app, offering a full range of services encompassing payments, transfers, as well as savings and investments.
To date, Djamo has given one million users in Ivory Coast and Senegal access to radically cheaper and better financial services, and our rapid growth continues unabated.

To support the launch and growth of our business, we are looking for a Head of Product.
Your Role
Reporting to the CPO, as Head of Product, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our product management team. You’ll ensure that every initiative aligns with our user-first philosophy while maintaining operational excellence. Your leadership will enable our teams to deliver delightful, impactful, and scalable experiences that push financial inclusion forward.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Strategy & Leadership
- Own and evolve Djamo’s product vision and roadmap in close partnership with executive leadership.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable, prioritized initiatives for the product team..
- Set clear goals and success metrics for the product departments and drive accountability through regular reviews.
- Represent the product in strategic planning, company updates, and board-level discussions.
Team Management & Culture
- Manage and mentor product managers, supporting their team growth and performance.
- Build a strong, cross-functional product culture grounded in user empathy, rapid learning, and collaboration.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
Product Execution
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Ensure design excellence and consistency across the entire product experience.
- Champion a strong culture of testing, experimentation, and data-informed decision making.
Organizational Impact
- Define and implement scalable processes for product discovery, prioritization, and delivery.
- Develop talent pipelines and hiring plans in collaboration with HR.
- Support go-to-market strategies with clear positioning, communication, and internal readiness.
Your profile
Your skills

8+ years of experience in product leadership, including managing product managers and designers.

A strong background in digital product design or UX is a plus.

Proven track record of launching successful digital products in fast-paced environments.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Highly user-centric, analytical, and strategic thinker.

Fluent in French and English.
