Overview Of The Role

We are seeking a performance-driven, growth-oriented Head of Marketing to own Axis’s end-to-end growth engine. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on scaling acquisition, optimizing CAC/LTV, increasing retention, and building a high-performance marketing organization that drives measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Growth Strategy Leadership
  • Define and own Axis’s overall marketing strategy, in partnership with the CEO and leadership.
  • Own consumer growth, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue contribution.
  • Translate business goals into measurable marketing KPIs and scalable growth plans.
  • Performance Marketing & Acquisition (Core Focus)
  • Build and scale a high-performance acquisition engine
  • Optimize all paid channels for CAC, LTV, ROI, and conversion efficiency.
  • Drive measurable footfall and activation through Axis branches, kiosks, and partner networks.
  • Implement strong attribution models and performance tracking frameworks.
  • Continuously test, optimize, and scale campaigns using experimentation methodologies.

This role requires deep, hands-on experience in performance marketing and managing substantial acquisition budgets.

  • Retention, Engagement & Lifecycle Marketing
  • Develop and own lifecycle marketing strategies to maximize activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Design onboarding journeys and education campaigns to increase feature adoption.
  • Build cross-sell, upsell, and re-engagement campaigns driven by data insights.
  • Partner closely with Product and Data teams to:
  • Analyze funnel performance
  • Identify drop-off points
  • Improve frequency and customer lifetime value
  • Brand, Communication & Creative Direction
  • Build a strong, consistent, and trusted Axis brand across digital, retail, and partner channels.
  • Lead integrated campaigns that combine performance and brand impact.
  • Data, Analytics & Budget Ownership
  • Define and track KPIs including CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention rates, funnel conversion, and channel ROI.
  • Own and allocate the marketing budget strategically to maximize performance and growth.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting to leadership with actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across performance, brand, content, CRM, and retail marketing.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Operations, and Leadership to align growth initiatives

Requirements

  • 7–12+ years of marketing experience with strong performance focus
  • Proven success scaling acquisition in fintech, telco, or high-growth tech
  • Expertise in paid media, funnel optimization, CAC/LTV management, and analytics
  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets
  • Strong leadership and analytical mindset
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
