Cede Labs

Cede Labs is a promising 11-person startup backed by GSR and Ledger building CEX (e.g., Binance, Coinbase,…) asset management tools for both the institutional and consumer market. The team has been accumulating more than 3 years of expertise on CEX connectivity.

Today, Cede Labs offers two main products:

Cede Hub: a solution for token issuers listed on CEX, to generate organic off-chain trading volume through competitions on app.cedehub.io, where we reward users on-chain for off-chain actions.

Metrics: went from 0 to 90k€ MRR in 5 months.

Key interlocutors:

for the end user base: farmers, traders (retail)

for the client base: Token issuers, market makers, CEX, foundations and other distribution partners

Cede SDK: a CEX connectivity solution that accelerates integration for crypto custody solutions with exchange platforms.

Metrics: 4 clients secured over the last 4 months after recent pivot (350k€ ARR)

Key interlocutors: Crypto custody solutions and their clients: hedge funds, prime brokers, market makers, stablecoins, OEMS,…

N.B: You will be working exclusively on the Cede Hub / Off-chain Organic Volume for Token Issuers product, at least at the beginning, to bring as much growth as possible on this product.

Mission

Drive Cede Hub User Growth (main mission)

Drive User Growth: Develop and execute strategies to acquire and retain end-users for Cede Hub.

Growth Strategy Development: Propose and execute with the help of internal and external ressources (if needed) data-driven growth strategies

Inbound & Outbound Strategies: Develop both acquisition verticals to grow the number of Weekly Active Traders (WAT = WAU)

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and execution of growth strategies.

Support Business Development & B2B Partnerships

Enhance Business Development & Partnerships: Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to refine the value proposition for Cede Hub clients and establish strategic B2B partnerships.

Identify and build strategic B2B partnerships that drive client acquisition ⇒ drive the growth for more clients/partners (token issuers, market makers, etc.)

Outcomes

Achieve significant growth in user base by improving acquisition and retention metrics

Improve key growth KPIs such as WAU, MAU, retention, CAC, and LTV.

Achieve growth strategies to improve client acquisition.

Establish strong partnerships that drive business expansion.

Web3 Knowledge: A foundational understanding of Web3 concepts, including market makers (MM), CEX-DEX relationships, and token issuers’ needs. Candidates should be able to grasp these concepts quickly, even if not deeply experienced.

Experience:

3+ years of experience and track record in marketing for blockchain or crypto projects

Proven track record in growth roles, preferably in Web3 or SaaS environments.

Have successfully launched marketing campaigns using multiple channels (KOLs, advertising, social media, UGC, ambassador programs, etc.).

Skills: Strong analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, and experience with growth hacking techniques.

Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive growth initiatives.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential, written and verbal communication skills.

Advanced Web3 Knowledge: Deeper expertise in finance-related Web3 topics, including traders behavior, the operations of market makers and token dynamics.

Experience with Gamification and Interactive Content:

Ability to design and implement gamified experiences that enhance user engagement and retention

Knowledge on how to leverage point-system, airdrop program or other loyalty programs to incentivize user participation

Community Building and Engagement:

Strong community engagement skills to foster a loyal and active user base through platforms like Discord, Twitter, and Reddit.

Ability to create and manage community-driven initiatives that encourage user participation and feedback

Web3 & Trading Education and Training:

Knowledge of how to educate users about Web3 technologies and principles, enhancing their understanding and engagement with your product.

Experience in developing educational content or workshops that help users navigate Web3 ecosystems.

Data Analysis in On-chain & Off-chain Environments:

Familiarity with tools like Dune Analytics for on-chain data analysis to understand user behavior and market trends, as well as Arkham Intelligence and other off-chain / on-chain analysis tools.

Experience with analytics platforms like Mixpanel or Amplitude is highly desirable.

Ability to interpret qualitative data from user feedback and community interactions to inform growth strategies

Experience setting up strong feedback loops (b2c/b2b)

Event Participation: Experience in representing companies at industry events, panels, or hackathons to promote products and network with potential partners.

Partnership Development Experience: Background in building partnerships with key Web3 stakeholders in market makers, centralized exchanges, foundations or launchpads

Multilingual Abilities: Fluency in additional languages to cater to a global client base.

Second interview to discuss practical exercises, to evaluate your understanding of our product and GTM, and your Web3 knowledge, with a case studies where candidates may be asked to present a case study of a past growth project they managed.
