Head of Global Sales
Root is on a mission to transform insurance with technology.
We’re seeking a dynamic and energetic professional to lead Root’s global sales efforts.
This is a full-time role based in the UK, reporting directly to Root’s CEO. We value both flexibility and building relationships face-to-face and achieve this by combining work-from-home with in-office collaboration. We’ll make sure that you are able to spend regular, valuable time on the ground with the team in South Africa.
Role overview
As the Head of Global Sales at Root, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Root’s market presence, particularly in the UK. Your mission is to drive the full sales lifecycle at Root across multiple regions, from prospecting for leads, closing them and handing the relationship over to the Professional Services and Client Success teams.
You’ll collaborate with a world-class team to achieve Root’s revenue goals and strengthen our market presence.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate is somebody with a tertiary qualification, an aptitude for numbers with 10+ years of experience in an outward-facing role (preferably in or related to insurance). An appropriate, professional social media presence is beneficial.

This role will entail frequent travel and attending meetings and events outside of regular working hours.
