The Bitcoin industry is experiencing exponential growth, and so we’re looking for a growth marketer who can drive our initiatives to capitalize on this potential. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies that result in sustainable client and business growth. You’ll report to River’s Director of Marketing and work closely with the marketing team, company leadership, and a number of cross-functional teams to drive results.

River is growing quickly and has raised more than $50 million from leading investors, including Goldcrest, Kingsway, Polychain, M13, DG, and Valor. We have also released our company’s financials publicly, so that all of our clients and employees can verify the robustness and growth of the business themselves.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be leading experiments, uncovering insights, and finding new ways to help people discover, understand, and fall in love with Bitcoin and River. Your work will directly impact how we grow our client base.

  • You own the conversion funnel from awareness to retention and will be leading creative initiatives to grow River’s client base and deepen client relationships.

  • Deeply understand our target audience’s pain points, motivations, and behaviors so you can tailor campaigns that resonate with them.

  • You’ll analyze data to target the right segments through various channels with compelling content, messaging, offers, and visuals.

  • Run and optimize advertising campaigns, promotions, and delightful experiences to acquire new clients.

  • Test new channels, tactics, and messaging to discover what drives growth, drawing inspiration from other businesses and industries.

  • Track and analyze the performance of key growth metrics, share learnings and iterate rapidly.

What we look for in you:

  • You’re a resourceful self-starter with a track record of taking initiative, solving problems, and shipping ideas to grow a business.

  • A sharp, creative mind. You know how to make people stop and pay attention in a tasteful way.

  • The ability to think in systems. You understand what it means to build a growth engine and to move initiatives from experiment to automation.

  • You’re analytical and know how to use data to drive results.

  • A relentless willingness to test, fail, learn, and iterate quickly.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.

  • You take ownership and are committed to delivering excellence for yourself and the business. You will be working in a team that also holds themselves to this standard.

  • It’s great if you already have a passion for Bitcoin, but that is not required for this role. You do, however, need to be intellectually curious and want to learn more about Bitcoin from an economic and social perspective.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in SEO.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, SQL, and other business intelligence tools.

Salary and benefits:

  • Annual salary range of $115k-$160k depending on experience

Interview process:

  • Hiring manager interview with River’s Director of Marketing (45 mins)

  • First round of interviews (1-hour block with River’s CPO and Marketing teammate)

  • Take-home challenge

  • Final round of executive interviews (1-hour block with River’s CEO and COO)
