We’re looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Growth Manager, Platform to lead our partnership with a major Chinese gaming publisher. You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, executing high-impact marketing campaigns with profitability, and driving player growth across Sub-Saharan Africa.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong project manager with client-facing experience, a solid business acumen and a passion for mobile games to play a pivotal role in one of Africa’s most dynamic growth sectors.
You will…
- Own and manage the end-to-end relationship with a strategic Chinese gaming publisher, ensuring alignment on goals, communication, budget and reporting
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns that drive player acquisition, engagement, and revenue across Sub-Saharan Africa
- Act as the primary point of contact for client teams, managing timelines, expectations, feedback loops, performance and budget reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Carry1st’s creative, growth, influencer, press and analytics teams to deliver top-tier execution on marketing initiatives
- Monitor campaign performance and player behavior to extract insights and recommend improvements to enhance results
- Manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, maintaining precision and speed in a fast-paced environment
What makes you a great candidate?
- 2+ years’ experience in client management, marketing, or partnerships—ideally within the gaming, mobile apps, or digital media industry
- Proven ability to manage complex relationships and multiple stakeholders at large accounts
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; you are confident presenting, problem-solving, and managing expectations with clients
- Meticulous attention to detail and an obsession with quality execution
- High work ethic and intensity—you thrive in a high-performance environment
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to own and deliver complex campaigns on time and to brief
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and mobile marketing in Africa is a strong plus
- Mandarin speaking is preferred, to facilitate communication with the publisher
