About the Team:
The Market Operations team oversees the launch strategy and deployment of World across all markets. This team deploys and manages all Orbs worldwide and serves as the primary point of contact for local Operators and Partners, and is responsible for effectively onboarding active users to World. Overall, the Market Operations team is on the frontlines of Tools for Humanity’s ambitious mission of helping to build a globally-inclusive identity and financial network.
About the Opportunity:
As World expands in Taiwan, we are looking for mutually-reinforcing partnerships that leverage World ID and Worldcoin to expand use cases for verified World App users in Taiwan. We believe that a network of partnerships in the Taiwanese ecosystem will drive massive value for users and all involved parties in the years to come.
The partnerships & growth possibilities are endless, including integrations that allow verified World IDs to enhance the experience of other frequently-used consumer platforms, the launch of mini-apps on the World App ecosystem that allows strategic partners to tap into World App users and Worldcoin value, other promotions and deals that allow World App users to redeem corporate vouchers and realize joint customer acquisition, as well as distribution and co-marketing partnerships.
As Growth Lead, Taiwan, you will gain the rare chance to:

This is an IC role. It is primarily a partnerships / business development / sales role, but with elements of strategy and operations given the nascent nature of our company, which requires first-principles thinking as well as constant, dynamic iteration.
Key responsibilities
Source potential partners, build a go-to-market approach, design partnership terms, and close partnerships. This is the main scope of the role.
Stand in the shoes of World App users, further identify opportunities and value gaps in our nascent World ID and World App ecosystem, and address them by devising new partnerships and use cases.
Stand in the shoes of World partners, identify unmet needs, and work globally with product, economics, and operations teams to enable tech-enabled partnership benefits and processes for World, partners, and users.
Work with marketing and communications teams to amplify the power of partnerships.
Maintain and grow key partnerships as needed.
About You:
You have 7+ years of relevant experience. You have succeeded in high-performance, tech-oriented business development, ideally in Taiwan.
You’re scrappy. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact.
You have strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills. You have experience and are able to communicate and do business across different cultures.
You’re innovative and motivated. You love coming up with solutions to unconventional problems and then taking action, and are eager to contribute to larger strategy conversations.
You understand what World and Tools For Humanity is about, and understand and appreciate that this is not a typical company or mission.
You are fluent in English and Mandarin.
You’re based in Taiwan, and are ready to travel within Taiwan.
