Golang Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Golang Software Engineer. The role involves developing and maintaining back-end applications, writing clean and efficient code using Golang, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Daily tasks include analyzing user requirements, designing software architecture, debugging and testing applications, and ensuring performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Proficient in Programming with expertise in GoLang
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Should be able to work with little or no supervision
• Experience working with Agile methodology
• Experience with cloud technologies and services is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with payment systems or have worked with a fintech company.
• Solid experience on API integration ( REST, SOAP etc)
• Experience with Cloud is optional but good to have.
