FP&A Analyst – The Role
As the FP&A Analyst, you will play a key supporting role in the financial planning and analysis activities of the organisation. Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and providing insightful analysis to support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparing and delivering regular variance analysis and financial reporting to senior management such as budget vs actual reporting, helping to highlight key drivers of performance and areas for improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to report on their KPIs.
- Assisting in the creation and upkeep of dashboards that monitor business performance and drive operational efficiencies that can be shared with key stakeholders at a Senior Leadership level.
- Supporting the FP&A Manager with the budgeting and reforecasting process.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast company performance and analyse various scenarios.
- Contribute to driving ongoing improvements in financial processes and systems to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making capabilities. While having a commercial mindset and focus, the successful candidate will have an appreciation of the importance of financial control.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance, providing proactive insights to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.

What are we looking for?
If you can demonstrate some of the following experience/skills below, we would love to hear from you.
- We’re looking for someone with 2-5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar finance role within an advisory or corporate setting.
- Being CIMA or equivalently qualified or actively studying towards CIMA or equivalent is beneficial.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and advanced skills in using Google Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience of working with a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Experience with Forecasting products is preferred.
- Experience with Netsuite is preferred.
