Pocket Protector is a social trading bot backed by Electric Capital and Dragonfly that enables you to trade with friends and discover + follow new top traders. Our social-focused features make trading more engaging and profitable, helping our traders discover alpha, ape rapidly, and avoid rugs. We’re growing virally from group to group and from Twitter through word-of-mouth spread right now with 4x retention compared to other trading bots.

Our founding team spent 5+ years in product and engineering roles during the early days of Facebook/Amazon, then raised a combined $25M+ from top web2 VCs including Founder’s Fund, Greylock, and Y-Combinator. All 3 startups we founded were acquired by a combination of private equity, startups, and big tech. In crypto we were first money in on over half a dozen $1B+ crypto projects beginning in 2017, and also ran a crypto hedge fund that consistently outperformed BTC across multiple cycles.

Our vision is to build a social trading exchange for crypto. We believe that discovering and trading in crypto has always been inherently social, and by leaning into this we can build a better exchange. By connecting traders with each other, leveraging reputation and status to reinforce trust, and by enabling trading to be safer, faster, and more profitable with friends – we believe we can build a new, dominant social trading exchange.
