🛠 Mission & Responsibilities

As Morpho’s first fully dedicated Financial team member, you’ll get to own a wide range of processes and work on various topics. You’ll become an expert of crypto accounting.

Pre-accounting

• Own the update of monthly transactions and invoices
  • Coordinate with the Office Manager and Accountants to ensure the smoothest process
  • Be a Cryptio super user for onchain transactions
• Own the relationship with the Accountant and Financial Auditor (Commissaires aux Comptes) to set up the relevant internal procedures

Reporting & Treasury Management

• Update the monthly reporting on expenses and treasury management both for internal operations management and to meet third-party requirements
• Drive monthly (or more) decisions on treasury management to rebalance exposure and positions across the various accounts and assets (fiat and crypto)

Financial Forecasting & Modelling

• Own financial forecasting on budgeting & business plan
• Support teams with their expenses monitoring and budgets, setting up dashboards

Partner relations

• Answer asks on metrics, financials, etc
• Track the MORPHO token distribution

🧙 Must-have Experience & Skills

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related fields preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance operations in a tech startup or a financial auditing firm, investment banking, FP&A and/or related experience
• Expertise in financial modelling & forecasting and treasury management with Excel / Google Sheets.
• Crypto professional experience or strong personal interest.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where urgent requests & tight deadlines may arise occasionally.

• Strong attention to detail, process-driven and comfortable navigating multiple accounts, entities, types of transactions.

• Experience coordinating with external stakeholders (accountants, tax counsels, auditors, etc).

• Ability to balance between operational tasks and strategic thinking.

• Knowledge of Cryptio or other crypto accounting tool is a plus.

• English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
