What We Do:

As a Finance Apprentice, you will work as a member of a cross functional global finance team and support several different finance and accounting projects and initiatives. The successful candidate is collaborative, proactive, and analytical, and will partner with the team to assist on projects and ad hoc daily deliverables.

In this role you will:

On The Job Training-

  • Own the cash reconciliation process, interacting with the sub-areas involved and get the subsequent revaluations on time.

  • Support the team on the Treasury function and banking relationship.

  • Contribute to the monthly close financial reporting, including knowledge of the reporting system. Contribute in the regular process of processing actuals and preparation for different rounds of forecasting.

  • Support the team on the data gathering and processing of intercompany costs allocations Contribute in ad-hoc tasks in the department.

Off the Job Learning-

  • This includes attending training sessions, workshops, and completing any required coursework or assignments.

  • Progress reviews and learning journals: Apprentices will need to participate in progress reviews and maintain a learning journal to document their learning and progress

  • Evidence collection: Apprentices will be responsible for collecting evidence of their learning and skills development, which may include work- based projects, assignments or exams

  • Commitment to the programme: Apprentices are expected to commit to the full duration of the apprenticeship and to actively participate in all aspects of the programme.

Requirements:

  • Analytical, motivated, can-do attitude, interested on learning and to try new tasks managing data.

  • A real team player for the Finance team, but who also builds relationships with the wider company.

  • Not afraid of asking questions or to get stuck in.

  • Preferably the apprentice would be able to come into the office on a Tuesday and Thursday.
