Finance and Operations Associate

The Role – Owning finance and operations execution at Biconomy

As Finance & Operations Associate, you’ll be the primary owner of Biconomy’s day-to-day finance and operational execution. You’ll work closely with the founders, owning Biconomy’s finance and operational execution and helping keep the business running smoothly as we scale.

This is a hands-on role for someone experienced, pragmatic, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving startup environment, while acting as a trusted partner to leadership.

What Will You Be Doing?

End-to-End Finance Operations

• Own day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, expense management, reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across entities and systems.

Payroll, Payments & Vendors

• Fully own monthly payroll execution and contractor payments, coordinating with external providers where required.

• Manage vendor payments, subscriptions, and ongoing operational spend.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

• Build and maintain budgets and forecasts in partnership with the founders.

• Track burn, runway, and spend, proactively flagging risks or inefficiencies.

• Prepare clear, practical financial reporting to support decision-making.

Treasury & Crypto Operations

• Manage treasury operations across fiat and digital assets.

• Track wallets, balances, and on-chain activity with strong internal controls.

• Support token-related operational processes as needed.

Compliance & Controls

• Own financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions, working with external accountants, auditors, and legal partners.

• Ensure filings, audits, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

• Put lightweight, scalable processes and controls in place as the company grows.

Founder & Team Support

• Act as a reliable finance and operations partner to the founders and wider team.

• Provide pragmatic input on spending, hiring, and operational decisions.

• Bring structure and clarity without slowing the business down.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations roles.

• Proven experience running finance and operational processes independently in a startup or scale-up environment.

• Strong understanding of payroll, budgeting, cash management, and financial controls.

• Must be able to work onsite in our office in Dubai.

• Comfortable working directly with founders and taking ownership.

• Experience with crypto, Web3, or digital assets is a strong plus.

• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and hands-on.

• Clear communicator able to translate numbers into practical insights.
