About This Role:

The Field Services Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end success of our field operations, power distribution solutions, and logistics. You will provide strategic direction to field support units while ensuring that deployed equipment meets the highest quality and safety standards.

This role bridges the gap between manufacturing, engineering, and the customer site, requiring a blend of operational excellence, technical expertise, and a “white-glove” approach to customer satisfaction. You are the final link in the chain, ensuring that Crusoe’s modular infrastructure is commissioned and maintained to peak performance in the field.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Field Operations & Technical Oversight: Lead and coordinate field support groups in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of power distribution equipment. Includes field deficiency remediation and warranty resolutions.

  • Technical Strategy: Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to address quality/warranty concerns and implement engineering change requests in the field.

  • Quality Assurance: Interpret complex electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and power studies to ensure installed equipment is configured to precise specifications. Develop KPI, PI programs along with field checklists associated with L2 and L3 Cx test scripts.

  • Diagnostics & Repair: Oversee the use of specialized electrical test equipment to diagnose, program, and repair electro-mechanical assemblies.

  • Logistics & Warehouse Management: Establish rigorous tracking for all material entering and leaving warehouse locations. Lead cycle counts and manage receivers for all deliveries.

  • Logistics Coordination: Maintain an effective coordinated calendar for all logistic activities to and from the field, ensuring the production team receives materials accurately.

  • Safety Leadership: Strictly enforce company and site-specific safety regulations; ensure all field support units maintain a safe and tidy work environment.

  • Documentation: Ensure the completion of detailed field technical reports, safety documents, and quality findings within the Company Maintenance Management System.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction support operations or electrical/mechanical field services, with a deep knowledge of power distribution equipment.

  • Education: 2-year Technical Degree or Associate degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant training.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and Bills of Material. Proficient in MS Office and mobile data entry.

  • Soft Skills: Ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership while remaining “hands-on” with field teams. Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (up to 100% depending on project needs), including overnight stays.

  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience managing field fleets and heavy equipment logistics.

  • Familiarity with specific power distribution brands (e.g., Schneider, ABB, Eaton).

  • Prior experience in the data center, renewable energy, or oil and gas sectors.

Benefits:

  • Paid time off & paid holidays

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
