Cboe is one of the World’s largest Exchange operators. The End User Computing (EUC) team handles maintaining End User equipment, accesses, and software Cboe associates need to effectively do their jobs. EUC works closely with our customers to ensure solutions to their issues or requests are met promptly.
An EUC Specialist top priority is servicing user support or break fix tickets as a top priority. EUC Specialists work to meet the computing needs and solve the computing issues of Cboe staff in a professional way. EUC Specialist decides and suggests training needs for the company. EUC Senior Specialists are experts in Mobility, Identity (User Management), Collaboration, Hardware, Software, or Purchasing. Senior EUC Specialists can also lead EUC projects and initiatives as Project leads. EUC Senior Specialists also guide EUC Specialists in training and solving issues. EUC Specialists at the senior level should promote and sustain a culture of collaboration and cooperation in the EUC.
More responsibilities include:
Primary point-of-contact for support of all end-user hardware and software, including:
Microsoft Surface, Dell, and Apple Workstations and Laptops
Windows, Mac OS, and Linux Operating Systems
VMWare Virtual Desktops, Thin Clients, and VMware Horizon
All End User Software procured by Cboe.
Any devices used on the Trading Floor
MS Office products
All major browsers
Office 365
Headsets/Webcams, Basic Desk Phone Configuration
Video Conferencing Equipment
Remote Access
Mobile phones
Printers/Copiers
Responsible for day-to-day tasks:
Hardware and Software Procurement and Asset Management
New User Setup
Virtual Desktop Administration
Software Deployment
Patching
Break/Fix Support
AD Management
Identify common issues/inefficiencies and work towards stream-lining our processes
Provide local and remote support for end-users in Lenexa, Chicago, and New York
Train end-users on technology and communicate changes which will affect them
The ideal candidate has:
Minimum 3 years of EUC Specialist experience.
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows 11 and Office products
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Domain Controllers, DNS, DFS, and DHCP
Solid background in AD, Azure AD administration including Group Policies and Security Groups
Develop a cooperative relationship with end-users of all technical abilities
A drive to create an atmosphere of competence, trust, and respect with all end-users
An “automate everything” attitude and desire for effective and efficient processes
Highly methodical and analytical approach to problem solving and evaluating technologies
Works well in a team environment
Dedication to quality and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
