Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy – fast. We’re combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $170M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.
We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.
We’re designing and deploying intelligent, grid-connected energy systems that combine batteries, power electronics and software to enable flexible, low-carbon energy infrastructure. Our Battery Management Systems are a core part of this stack, responsible for safety, performance, lifetime and integration of high-voltage battery assets operating in real-world grid environments.
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the design of high-voltage battery management electronics used across Fuse’s energy storage and distributed energy platforms. You will work end-to-end from early concept and requirements definition through schematic and PCB layout, validation and deployment into production and fielded systems.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, requiring strong electrical engineering fundamentals, practical judgement and the ability to balance performance, safety, reliability and cost. You will collaborate closely with firmware, software, mechanical, test and operations teams to deliver robust BMS hardware that scales from prototype to fleet deployment.
