What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Director of Fulfillment & Logistics responsible for building out and leading the operational roadmap for all our kitchens across the US. Your time will be spent in overseeing daily activities of the operational logistics and fulfillment in each location, creating a positive workplace culture and driving continuous improvement and innovation.

As a key contributor to a critical area in our business, this role will define and implement how we bring our meals to our customers.

The positions partners with other teams such as Supply Chain, Food Safety, Customer Experience, Engineering, and Product to develop strong processes to minimize errors and ensure maximum productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Build & establish a strong team within each functional area of Fulfillment and Logistics (Fulfillment, Quality, Warehouse, and Shipping)
  • Develop high standards for execution to meet all KPI’s & financial metrics while supporting your team in achieving daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals
  • Be the liaison between the site operators and other functions within Headquarters, helping your team to identify the key priorities for the site
  • Identify problems in the Logistics and Fulfillment operations and drive continuous improvement and innovation strategies
  • Share and exchange operational best practices between all kitchens
  • Develop and Conduct RFP for 3PL partners and negotiate 3PL contracts.
  • Instill a customer-focused mindset committed to delivering the highest quality product
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change within the facility, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience managing operations or production within the Food/Beverage/Perishables
  • Comprehensive background in Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing
  • Effective project management skills, well-versed in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma, APICS, Kaizen certification preferred)
  • Efficient with Google Suite (Gmail, drive, sheets, etc.)
  • Experience using large database and e-commerce framework (we use Magento)
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or night shifts
  • Availability to travel to our kitchen locations
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position
$150,000β€”$170,000 USD
