When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We’re in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We’re solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We’re looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned, strategic leader to join our People Team as the Director, Employee Success. This is a leadership role designed for a “builder” who can bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and the daily employee experience. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will own the end-to-end talent strategy for our most critical business units, ensuring that our people’s growth and organizational design are as innovative as our technology.

You will lead, manage, and scale a team of Employee Success Business Partners ensuring that Crusoe remains a world-class employer as we continue our rapid global expansion. Your mission is to build a highly resilient organization where employee retention, leadership excellence, and operational efficiency drive our competitive advantage in the AI and energy infrastructure space.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • High-Performance Culture & Calibration: Design the enterprise-wide frameworks for talent calibration and performance management. You will be responsible for the “last mile” delivery of these programs—ensuring that corporate policy translates into meaningful, consistent execution by managers on the ground.

  • Leadership Excellence & Manager Coaching: Partner directly with leaders to drive organizational effectiveness. You will serve as a high-trust coach, helping managers navigate the complexities of leading diverse teams across technical, industrial, and global environments.

  • Organizational Architecture & Design: Lead strategic workforce planning and organizational design to ensure our structure evolves ahead of our growth. You will manage the change management frameworks required to keep the organization aligned during rapid global scaling and restructuring.

  • Talent Identification & 9-Box Implementation: Direct the methodology for identifying high-potential performers. You will implement and oversee the 9-Box Talent Matrix to facilitate leadership reviews, ensuring a deep and visible bench of future leaders across the Digital Infrastructure and Energy teams.

  • Strategic Retention & Engagement: Create and implement data-driven employee retention and engagement programs. You will analyze organizational health metrics to design interventions that reduce turnover and maximize the “employee lifetime value” at Crusoe.

  • Employee Experience & Growth Advocacy: Champion the end-to-end employee experience. You will build clear growth pathways and mobility programs that allow our best talent to evolve their careers within the company, bridging the gap between current

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 12+ Years of Experience: You have an extensive track record in HR leadership, with at least 6 years specifically leading teams within high-growth, global tech or industrial companies.

  • The “Scaling Expert”: You have successfully build programs and processes from 0-1, and also have navigated an organization through the “messy middle” of growth (e.g., 500 to 2,500+ employees) and understand the infrastructure needed at each stage.

  • Industry Depth: You bring specific experience managing diverse employee populations, including software engineers, data center technicians, and construction/unionized labor.

  • Commercial & Technical Mindset: You treat “People Success” like a product. You are comfortable with technoeconomic modeling, data analytics, and using HRIS/BI tools to prove the ROI of people initiatives.

  • High-Intensity Leadership: You thrive in high-trust, high-accountability environments. You are comfortable with ambiguity and possess a “bias towards action” during rapid-fire decision-making.

  • Elite Communication: You can distill complex organizational issues into “decision-grade” memos for the Board and Executive team.

  • Global Perspective: You have a deep understanding of international labor markets and have managed employee success across North America, Europe, and emerging markets.

  • 12+ years in HRBP, Employee Relations, or People Operations leadership.
