We’re seeking a Developer Relations Associate to join our team as a key bridge between Raijin.gg and the developer community, especially across Asia. The ideal candidate is passionate about games, culturally fluent across regions, and skilled at building lasting partnerships with developers and studios.
Role Overview
As a Game Developer Relations Associate, you’ll serve as Raijin.gg’s ambassador to game developers. You’ll identify and engage new developer partners, manage ongoing relationships, support event presence, and contribute to community growth and partner communications.
This is an individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and enjoys both external relationship-building and behind-the-scenes coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloper Outreach & Partnerships
- Identify and reach out to game developers, studios and publishers across APAC to onboard them to
Raijin.gg and its various video game promotion offerings.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure their continued success.
- Gather developer feedback and share insights with internal product and marketing teams.
- Support the creation of developer resources (e.g., onboarding materials, guides, webinars).
Industry & Event Engagement
- Represent Raijin.gg at regional and international industry events such as GDC, ChinaJoy, Tokyo Game Show, and Thailand Game Show.
- Help coordinate Raijin.gg’s presence at events, from booth setup to scheduling meetings and follow-ups.
- Speak on panels, webinars, or community calls to share Raijin.gg’s vision and updates.
Community & Communication
- Engage with the developer community across Discord, social media, and local channels.
- Support online Q&A sessions, feature showcases, and partner spotlights.
- Collaborate with marketing to highlight developer success stories and regional achievements.
Administrative & Coordination
- Maintain organized partner records and engagement tracking.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and internal coordination around partner activities.
- Contribute to documentation and translations of developer materials as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–5 years of experience in developer relations, business development, or community management in the gaming or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of the game development ecosystem and lifecycle
- Comfort with public speaking and representing a brand at events or online
- Highly organized with a self-starter mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages:
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with international teams or cross-cultural developer communities.
- Established connections within the APAC game development scene.
- Familiarity with live ops, esports, or emerging gaming technologies (e.g. AI tools).
