About the role

We are looking for a Datacenter Technician to join the Facility Operations team who can marry chaos and structure with ease. This individual will be responsible for ensuring 24×7 continuous operation and security of critical infrastructure including all routine and preventive maintenance activities.

As a Datacenter Technician, you will work with the Facility Managers to maintain a portion of our company’s 40,000+ assets, facilities, and hosting partners to ensure that everything is safe and functional. Your duties include working with onsite teams and overseeing day-to-day facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on facilities and hardware.
• Monitor hardware.
• Complete day-to-day tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Respond to and remediate equipment faults identified by customers or internal monitoring systems.
• Assist in the customer onboarding process by installing servers.
• Travel to mining facilities for site inspections.
• Maintain logs for service and maintenance on deployed assets.

Qualifications

• A technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience
• 1+ years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment
• Comfortable working with a team of technicians in a 24×7 operating environment
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, security, and fire protection are preferred
• Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance is desired but can be acquired

Location: Fort Stockton, Texas (on-site)
