About your mission! – Make an impact 🚀

The team is developing solutions for analyzing financial reports of companies from around the world. The engineer’s role is to design and implement ML methods for parsing, analyzing, and recognizing fillings and data in PDF documents (including scanned documents and images), as well as to build systems for quality control and monitoring.

How You’ll Drive Success 🏆

• Develop and implement methods for analyzing XBRL reports, text documents, and extracting data from PDFs, including scanned documents and images
• Use NLP and machine learning techniques to extract and process information from financial statements
• Design and maintain systems for monitoring the quality and accuracy of ML models
• Collaborate with analysts and product teams to improve the efficiency of data processing workflows
• Build models for recognition and classification of textual information in various document formats
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data extracted from financial reports for downstream analysis.

What makes you the perfect fit 🤝

• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in key data processing libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with NLP and LLMs for text analysis and processing
• Knowledge of technologies for parsing and recognizing data from PDF and scanned documents
• Experience working with large datasets and data preprocessing
• Proven track record of developing and deploying ML solutions in production
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with databases

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with financial data and understanding financial statements and metrics
• Experience developing systems for data quality control and monitoring
• Familiarity with image and document scan processing technologies

This is a hybrid role based in our Málaga office, located in the heart of the city at the prestigious Muelle Uno port.
