What You Will Do

As part of the Group Consolidation & Reporting team, you will drive Klarna’s monthly consolidation and external reporting for a complex structure across 60+ entities. You will guide the monthly closing process, manage reconciliations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, accurate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading monthly consolidation activities, including minority interest and equity reconciliations, as well as managing disposals, mergers, and liquidations.

  • Preparing consolidated annual statements in Workiva and supporting the year-end audit process through dry-runs and effective collaboration with auditors.

  • Contributing to the interim and annual reports for Klarna Holding Group, Klarna Bank Group, and Klarna Group PLC.

  • Continuously improving consolidation and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data integrity.

  • Acting as a key partner to accounting, business control, and investor relations teams to deliver clear, insightful financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAPs.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
  • 5–7 years of finance experience, including 2–4 years focused on financial consolidation and reporting.

  • Solid knowledge of IFRS with experience preparing consolidated financial statements within a global organization.

  • Proficiency in financial consolidation tools; familiarity with SAP, OneStream, and Workiva is advantageous.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Clear and effective communication style with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

  • Proactive mindset, able to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvements.

  • Comfortable using and learning new financial systems and tools.

Awesome to Have

  • Experience working in a regulated financial institution.
  • Background in supporting investor relations or preparing public financial disclosures.

  • Exposure to M&A activities from a reporting and consolidation perspective.

  • Ability to automate or enhance consolidation processes using technology.

  • Prior experience working with external auditors during year-end audits.
