Role Overview:

We are seeking a Compliance Solution Consultant / Compliance Solution Operations professional to design and implement the compliance framework for global fiat on-ramp and off-ramp payment solutions. This role bridges compliance, legal, and product operations, focusing on building compliant, scalable models that integrate both traditional payment infrastructures and crypto-stablecoin settlement mechanisms.

The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in global payment compliance, cross-border settlement frameworks, and crypto-financial regulations, with a strong ability to translate compliance requirements into practical business and product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Framework & Infrastructure Design

• Develop and implement a compliance framework for fiat on/off-ramp and payment products that aligns with regulatory requirements across EU, LATAM, and MENA.
• Design compliance-ready payment and settlement models, combining stablecoins with traditional financial systems.
• Build and maintain documentation including policies, business models, SOPs, and risk assessment frameworks that support product launches and ongoing operations.

Regulatory Strategy & License Application

• Support and coordinate license applications (e.g., EMI, PSP, SVF, CASP, MiCAR, or equivalent) by preparing operational, compliance, and product-related documentation.
• Work directly with legal and compliance counsel to ensure regulatory filings meet jurisdictional standards.
• Liaise with regulators and external legal advisors to clarify and align requirements for cross-border settlements and stablecoin integration.

Product & Partner Compliance Enablement

• Advise product, engineering, and operations teams on compliance implications of new features and guide them in adapting product flows accordingly.
• Identify and structure partnerships with banks, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, and payment networks that meet compliance and operational standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish secure and auditable fund flow designs, including user KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and reporting processes.

Global & Cross-Border Solution Development

• Design compliance-compatible solutions for cross-border payment settlement, including hybrid crypto-fiat systems.
• Develop region-specific compliance solutions, accounting for regulatory, banking, and FX environments in the EU, LATAM, and MENA regions.
• Support the creation of global policy templates and partner onboarding guidelines that ensure consistent compliance execution across jurisdictions.

Key Requirements:

Core Background

• 5–10 years of professional experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory operations within payments, fintech, or crypto industries.
• Proven track record of building or scaling compliance frameworks for global payment solutions or financial institutions.
• Experience engaging with regulators and supporting license applications (EMI, PSP, SVF, CASP, MiCAR, etc.) across multiple jurisdictions

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of fiat payment infrastructures, including card settlement, bank transfers, and e-money frameworks.
• Familiarity with crypto compliance frameworks, including VASP, stablecoin, and blockchain-based financial products.
• Hands-on experience designing payment fund flows, operational policies, and internal control systems.
• Deep knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and risk reporting requirements.

Preferred Regional Exposure

• Direct working experience in one or more of the following regions:
• EU: Familiarity with MiCAR, PSD2, or MiFID frameworks.
• LATAM: Understanding of local payment ecosystems (e.g., PIX, SPEI) and crypto compliance approaches.
• MENA: Awareness of regional PSP/SVF frameworks and stablecoin regulatory approaches.
