About Cube Group, Inc.:

Cube is a next-generation crypto exchange designed for transparency, security, and speed. Built for institutions and individuals alike, Cube merges the safety of self-custody with the efficiency of centralized trading — giving users a compliant, secure, and high-performance trading experience.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen Cube’s compliance program as we broaden our presence in Europe and expand globally. This person will work closely with senior leadership, regulators, and external partners to ensure Cube meets and exceeds its regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial compliance — whether from crypto, fintech, or traditional finance — and thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. You’ll bring both strategic perspective and hands-on expertise to defend, refine, and evolve Cube’s compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance Cube’s compliance program, including policies for AML/KYC, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary compliance contact for internal teams, regulators, and external stakeholders.
  • Support Cube’s global expansion strategy, ensuring cross-border regulatory alignment, with a particular focus in Europe.
  • Oversee reporting, audits, and filings with state and federal authorities.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to embed compliance by design into new features and workflows.
  • Manage relationships with banking, custodial, and regulatory partners.
  • Lead efforts around Markets in Crypto- Asset Regulation (MiCA) license and supports any other license and registration efforts.
  • Monitor regulatory changes across Europe and international markets and recommend proactive adaptations.
  • Train internal teams on compliance best practices and obligations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably in crypto, fintech, or traditional finance.
  • Deep understanding of AML, KYC, and sanctions frameworks (Europe and U.S.).
  • Proven ability to build or defend a compliance program in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience engaging with regulators, auditors, or financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of VASP license requirements.
  • Familiarity with MiCA licensing processes or regulatory filings (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to operate independently and confidently represent compliance matters to leadership.
  • Bonus: Experience with DeFi, digital asset exchanges, or cross-border compliance frameworks.

Personal Attributes:

  • Curious and eager to learn.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to quality.
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and takes initiative.

What’s in it for you?

  • Join a world-class team reimagining what a crypto exchange can be.
  • Work on the frontier of regulated digital assets with a focus on transparency and user protection.
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
  • Global, flexible, and fast-moving culture.
