Overview:
Polemos is a leading Web3 gaming infrastructure platform, enabling seamless player onboarding, asset management, and engagement across blockchain games. Through strategic partnerships and innovative technologies, we bridge Web2 and Web3 gaming, creating a frictionless experience for players.
We are looking for a Community Manager Manager to grow and engage our online community across multiple platforms. This role is crucial in fostering a positive and interactive environment while ensuring Polemos engages and retains an active community. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with experience in online community building, event organization, and engagement strategies.
This role will report to the Head of Community.
Primary Responsibilities
Community Management & Moderation
- Engage directly with the community across our ecosystem including Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and other platforms.
- Organize and push activities that encourage community discussions and interaction. Including AMAs,Live tournaments, gamenights and other activities.(3-5 events per week)
- Implement engagement incentives such as giveaways, leaderboards, and recognition programs to maintain an active community.
- Ensure community guidelines are upheld, fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
- Support new members by answering questions and directing them to helpful resources.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to align engagement efforts with brand initiatives.
- Build relationships with gaming guilds and thought leaders that lead to them co-hosting events on our platforms
Social Media
- Develop and schedule posts for X (Twitter), Telegram, and Discord. To promote events.
- Monitor social trends and community sentiment, adjusting strategies to improve engagement.
- Be a champion of Polemos—engage, comment, and amplify our content to fuel our community’s growth.
Key Performance Metrics
- Growth and engagement levels across Discord, Telegram, and X (Twitter).
- Active participation and discussions generated within the community.
- Effectiveness of engagement initiatives (e.g., giveaways, polls, AMAs).
- Positive sentiment and overall community health.
Experience / Skills Required
- 2+ years of experience in community management or moderation.
- Native or high-level fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Native or high level fluency in Portuguese with excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of gaming, blockchain, and Web3 ecosystems.
- Proven experience in growing and managing online communities.
- Familiarity with Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and other social platforms.
- Proficiency in using social media scheduling and management tools.
- Ability to handle conflict resolution and foster positive interactions.
- Basic graphic design and content creation skills (Canva, Photoshop) are a plus.
