Reimagine access. Reimagine ownership. Build the future with Cinch.
Cinch is Southeast Asia’s leading circular tech subscription company, redefining how people and businesses access technology. Instead of adding to the growing e-waste crisis, we enable affordable, sustainable access to devices through subscriptions that maximize reuse and extend their lifecycle. We operate across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels, including major partnerships with global leaders like Samsung. Our model sits at the intersection of powerful mega trends — sustainability, embedded finance, and the shift from ownership to access — creating a massive opportunity to reshape the future of tech consumption. At Cinch, we are builders with high standards, a bias for action, and a shared mission to create a generational company that outlasts us. Freshly funded by leading institutional investors and growing rapidly, we’re creating an environment where ambitious people can do the best work of their careers — and where the work has real, lasting impact.
The Role
As a Collections Executive, you’ll play a critical role in protecting Cinch’s circular subscription model by driving timely recoveries while delivering a respectful, solutions-oriented customer experience. You’ll own day-to-day collections outreach, help customers resolve billing issues and repayment options, and collaborate with Finance, Risk, Support, Legal, and external agency partners to ensure consistent, compliant outcomes. This role blends communication skill, analytical thinking, and operational discipline — and is essential to keeping our subscription ecosystem healthy and sustainable.

Resolve Billing Issues & Disputes
- Engage customers in a courteous and confident manner to clarify billing questions, resolve disputes, and address payment issues.
- Partner with Customer Support to ensure customer concerns are addressed without compromising on repayment outcomes.
Build Recovery Plans & Negotiate Outcomes

- Track and follow up on payment commitments to ensure closure and reduce repeat delinquency.
Monitor Performance & Surface Risk Insights
- Track and report key collections metrics (e.g., DSO, aging, recovery rates), flagging emerging risks to Finance and/or Risk.
- Identify root causes of delinquency (payment failures, customer confusion, regional trends) and recommend improvements to processes and comms.
Coordinate Escalations & External Partners
- Work closely with external debt collection agencies on escalated cases, monitoring recovery progress and ensuring service-level expectations are met.
- Liaise with Finance and Legal on complex cases, ensuring accurate documentation and consistent escalation decisions.
Maintain Clean Records & Stay Compliant
- Maintain detailed case notes and records of interactions/outcomes in CRM/accounting systems for audit-readiness.
- Ensure collections activities align with applicable regulatory and privacy requirements (e.g., PDPA and relevant local guidelines).
