About the team

The IT team at Satellogic delivers reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions to support the company’s mission and day-to-day operations. We ensure the smooth functioning of all IT services, infrastructure, and tools that enable business continuity, operational efficiency, and security.

The team is always learning and trying to push the limits, relying in part on the large diversity of people’s profiles and backgrounds.

About the position

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud services and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in shaping our internal cloud strategy, ensuring high availability, and enabling rapid, reliable software development across teams.

This role is focused on building internal tools and infrastructure that empower our developers to move faster and with confidence. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in cloud-native technologies but also passionate about developer experience, automation, and continuous improvement.

Location

Remote work from anywhere between UTC-5 and UTC+3 time zones. Satellogic’s office locations include Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Montevideo

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and deploy cloud-native architectures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitor and optimize complex distributed systems for performance and reliability
• Configure and manage networking solutions with the Network team: VPNS, VPCs, firewalls and load balancers
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Participating in on-call rotations support our infrastructure.

About you

Experience

• 4 + years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Helm for managing deployments.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS).
• Solid networking knowledge (VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, load balancers).
