We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Candidate Engagement Specialist to join our team. This role combines talent acquisition, onboarding, and hosting to create a seamless and engaging experience for candidates. With a focus on Web3 recruitment, the ideal candidate has expertise in sourcing niche roles, technical recruitment, and administrative tasks. They will also bring knowledge of the Web3 and trading space, along with a proven ability to engage candidates and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate to Contractor Experience:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the candidate journey, providing white-glove service from onboarding to offboarding
  • Provide communication with candidates who are rejected for the role and onboarding email for new hires.
  • Execute comprehensive onboarding programs that effectively integrate new hires into the organization
  • Coordinate with Total Rewards and Admin Lead, SecOps Lead and hiring managers to ensure all necessary equipment, access, and resources are prepared before new hire start dates.
  • Organize and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions and coordinate initial training schedules for security protocols and basic blockchain discussion.
  • Ensure that 15-30-60-90 days check up are up to date and executed accordingly.
  • Assist on hosting engagement activities to foster a positive new hire experience especially during Town Hall introduction.

Networking and Sourcing:

  • Source candidates for both technical and non-technical positions, leveraging on Web3 connections to hit top talents.
  • Participate in Web3 events/seminars to build connections and penetrate communities related to blockchain in order to strengthen the talent pool.
  • Assist DCPA-IT and HPPSI in building the Web3 HR council and act as a moderator, helping build and strengthen the community.
  • Establish academe to industry partnership in order to leverage academic events related to alumni and career development of university students.
  • Help manage company presence on professional networks (LinkedIn, Upwork, Workable, Glassdoor, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Github etc.)
  • Respond to company reviews and candidate feedback on employment platforms.

Process Documentation

  • Maintain and update the Hiring Dashboard, Sovrun Contractor Masterfile, Contractor documents, Contractor Checkup and any other tracker related to onboarding and offboarding.
  • Process and track reimbursements/payment requests related but not limited to Talent Acquisition and coordinate with Admin & Total Rewards Lead for process.
  • 1+ years of experience in human resource focusing on candidate experience or talent acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in the Web3 space.
  • Proficiency in data sorting, spreadsheet formulas, and attention to detail.
  • Have experience using Workable, UpWork, LinkedIn, Github, Reddit, Discord, Facebook and Telegram groups to source candidates under tech with Web3 focused.
  • Experience in onboarding processes and hosting engagement activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
