As a Business Operations & Strategy Manager, you will report to the VP of Business Operations and act as the bridge between strategic vision and execution. You will leverage your analytical prowess, strategic thinking, problem-solving acumen, and deep business understanding to optimise our processes, unlock new growth avenues, and ensure BVNK operates with maximum efficiency, scalability, and strategic alignment. You will support senior executives on key strategic projects, acting as a versatile problem solver and strategic partner who takes ownership and delivers significant business value through the development, refinement, and maintenance of essential processes and products, all whilst contributing to the overarching strategic direction of the company.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement scalable operational frameworks to support BVNK’s rapid expansion and evolving business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead and execute critical company-wide initiatives, spanning strategic planning, operational improvements, and new product launches, ensuring cohesive execution of the company’s vision.
• Analyse data to identify key trends, opportunities, and pain points, translating insights into actionable recommendations and driving data-informed decision-making, both operationally and strategically.
• Optimise existing processes and workflows across various departments to enhance efficiency, productivity, reduce operational friction, and support strategic objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of projects and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance, track the impact of implemented initiatives, and provide insights for strategic adjustments.
• Support senior leadership with strategic analysis, presentations, and ad-hoc projects to facilitate informed decision-making and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and potentially unlock new strategic advantages.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking by proactively identifying areas for enhancement and driving positive change in both operational efficiency and strategic alignment.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2-4 years of demonstrable experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (ideally within a startup or fintech), with exposure to both business operations and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau) and the ability to extract, manipulate, and synthesise data effectively to inform both operational improvements and strategic recommendations.
• A natural inclination and interest in exploring and implementing AI and automation tools to improve business processes and potentially identify strategic opportunities.
• A proven track record of delivering quantifiable business impact and contributing to strategic initiatives, showcasing your ability to drive tangible results and assume increasing responsibilities.
• Exceptional drive and ambition, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, coupled with a strategic and forward-thinking approach.
• Rapid learning agility and the ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment, with a keen understanding of how operational changes impact strategic goals.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable steps, develop actionable solutions, and contribute to the overarching strategic framework.
• A solid analytical foundation with the ability to interpret data, draw meaningful conclusions, and translate them into both operational improvements and strategic insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, on both operational and strategic matters.
