We’re Building the Future of Capital Markets;

enabling entrepreneurship, job creation, financial inclusion, and economic resilience

As Asia’s leading securities brokerage, regulated exchange and fund management platform for alternative investments, Alta is at the forefront of building critical capital market infrastructure. We believe that access to capital markets are pivotal in all economies, we recognize that our role in building this critical infrastructure goes beyond facilitating trades; it paves the way for entrepreneurship, job creation, financial inclusion, and economic resilience, fostering a brighter future for emerging markets and economies.

Empowering Private Markets: Through our Digital Exchange, we enable the tokenization and digital custody of alternative assets. This end-to-end solution simplifies and expedites the trading of smaller asset blocks, ultimately facilitating access and liquidity in private markets.

Innovative Financial Ecosystem: Our journey has seen us transition from securities trading and distribution of comprehensive products, including equities, private credit, funds, and asset-backed securities (“ABS”) (representing Real World Assets (“RWA”) like whiskies, wines, art, watches, and real estate) to include fund management and digital custody services.

Established in 2016 and headquartered in Singapore, Alta operates offices globally. We welcome energetic and creative individuals to be part of this ambitious journey with us.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Business Manager to partner closely with the leadership of our Private Capital Markets (PCM) team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic planning, optimizing business performance, and ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams to support execution at scale.

You will serve as a thought partner to PCM leadership, helping shape business direction, manage execution roadmaps, and connect day-to-day activities to long-term priorities. This role requires both strategic thinking and operational rigor — blending analytical depth with the ability to move fast and mobilize stakeholders.

Sitting at the intersection of capital markets execution and internal business management, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence the trajectory of a core growth engine at Alta, while gaining visibility across the firm’s broader strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Private Capital Markets (PCM) team in executing business priorities by coordinating across internal functions such as Strategy, Product, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
  • Assist in the preparation of strategic presentations, internal reports, and business review materials for senior management, clients, and partners.
  • Manage day-to-day tracking of business KPIs, pipeline status, and team OKRs, ensuring visibility and follow-through across ongoing initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, project timelines, and cross-functional deliverables, helping keep internal stakeholders aligned and on schedule.
  • Partner with team leads to evaluate new tools, processes, and workflows that enhance operational efficiency and client service.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support new product ideas, partnerships, or go-to-market efforts related to PCM offerings.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and team communications to maintain knowledge continuity and process clarity.
  • Be a proactive problem-solver who can anticipate potential roadblocks and escalate appropriately to ensure smooth execution.

About You

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in business management, operations, project management, or a similar role within financial services, fintech, or consulting.
  • Strong organizational and execution capabilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to coordinate across diverse internal teams and manage up effectively.
  • A good understanding of capital markets and private investments is preferred; intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
