We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Remittance to lead the go-to-market and partnership initiatives for this emerging business line.
In this role, you’ll drive the exploration and execution of strategic remittance partnerships, work cross-functionally to shape product-market fit, and unlock scalable revenue opportunities within both domestic and cross-border payment corridors.
This is a highly strategic, high-impact role ideal for someone with deep domain expertise in remittance, money transfer operators, or payment systems, and a strong passion for crypto innovation.
In this role, you will
- Execute social media strategies that align with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Manage and grow Pintu’s presence across key platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content tailored to each platform.
- Collaborate with content creators, influencers, media partners, and community leaders to expand brand reach and visibility.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using native platform analytics and third-party tools (e.g., Emplifi, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creative Center) to optimize campaigns.
- Stay updated on crypto trends, pop culture, and the digital landscape in Indonesia to ensure Pintu remains culturally relevant. Candidate doesn’t need to be fluent in crypto, but a strong curiosity and willingness to learn about the industry is essential.
- Work with the creative and product teams to ensure messaging is on-brand and visually consistent.
- Drive measurable outcomes including engagement, impression, traffic, and followers growth.
Who We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales in the remittance, cross-border payments, or fintech industry.
- Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-impact deals with financial institutions, MTOs, PSPs, or B2B remittance enablers.
- Strong understanding of remittance infrastructure, money movement, FX dynamics, compliance/regulatory frameworks, and/or agent-based networks.
- Excellent network within the local and/or Southeast Asia remittance or payment industry.
- Experience collaborating with product and legal teams to bring deals to market.
- Passionate about crypto, blockchain, or digital assets and their role in transforming global payments.
Nice to have if you
- Exposure to crypto or blockchain-based remittance or settlement systems.
- Understanding of regulatory licensing frameworks for payment institutions, particularly in Indonesia or SEA.
- Experience in early-stage go-to-market strategy, ideally within a startup or scale-up environment.
