Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Business Development Manager to spearhead our B2B growth initiatives in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian market. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing new business opportunities—both direct B2B clients and strategic partners—capable of unlocking scalable growth. The ideal candidate will not only drive deal origination but also own the end-to-end execution of partnerships, ensuring seamless integration and sustained success. Experience with CRM tools and a keen interest in exploring AI-driven approaches to prospecting and engagement are essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, focusing on direct B2B clients and strategic partnerships aligned with Cinch’s growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our client base.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline, automate outreach, and monitor conversion metrics.
  • Use AI-enabled tools or platforms to enhance lead generation, scoring, and nurturing strategies.

Partnership Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring long-term engagement and mutual value creation.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements with favorable terms and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor partnership performance and implement improvements to maximize commercial outcomes.

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional teams for the onboarding and integration of new clients and partners.
  • Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and coordinate resources to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  • Utilize project management tools and best practices to track progress, manage risks, and ensure accountability.

Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment between business development activities and product/operational readiness.
  • Channel client and partner feedback into product development and service refinement.
  • Share insights on CRM performance and AI-driven prospecting outcomes to inform broader go-to-market strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related role within the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of securing and managing strategic B2B partnerships and clients.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) to track pipeline, engagement, and performance.
  • Interest or experience in using AI-powered tools to augment sales and business development (e.g., for prospecting, lead qualification, or personalization).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute methodically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
