Onboard is building the financial infrastructure for Africa’s digital economy. We’re hiring a commercial operator who can own revenue growth, manage deep client relationships, and scale transaction volume fast. This role comes in two tracks — choose the one that fits your profile honestly.
Track A — portable book
You arrive with clients
You have 3+ business clients doing FX payments today who will move to a new platform with you within 30 days. Your month 1 is about activation, not prospecting.
Month 1: $750k transaction volume
Month 3: $2M volume, 8+ anchor clients
Month 6: $4M volume, building the team
Track B — cold builder
You build from scratch
You don’t have a portable book but you are an exceptional hunter. You can build a $1M/month pipeline from cold within a quarter. Month 1 is pipeline, not volume.
Month 1: 20 qualified prospects, 2 verbal commits
Month 3: $750k volume, pipeline to $2M
Month 6: $3M volume, 3+ sectors covered
Track A is the priority hire. If you are on Track B, you need to demonstrate exceptional cold-hunting track record to advance past stage 2.
