Job Brief
We’re looking for a Business Development Associate to help us grow Aven by identifying and securing high-impact partnerships. This role is perfect for someone who’s energized by outreach, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to make a direct impact on the company’s growth trajectory. As a Business Development Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our potential partners. You’ll be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing outbound efforts, and building strong early-stage relationships. You’ll work closely with the founding team to shape and execute partnership strategies that move the needle.
What you’ll do:
Drive new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing partnership opportunities for Aven
Oversee the first stage of the sales pipeline by performing cold outreach and nurturing leads through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings
Manage the outbound sales pipeline, ensuring data accuracy and serving as the source of truth
Make a remarkable first impression on potential partners by providing consistent value at every touchpoint
Champion growth opportunities internally through partnership initiatives
Requirements
Previous experience in business development or direct sales focused on cold prospecting
Grit and determination – ability to excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and hit ambitious targets
Proven track record of success in a quota-carrying role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A successful track record in B2B business development or sales is a bonus
