Hadrian – Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

Valued at $1.6B, we’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.

The Role

The Operational Finance team at Hadrian is a driving force behind both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of our advanced manufacturing mission. We work closely with every function, from Accounting, Factory Operations, Special Projects and Automation, to construct official company plans and ensure disciplined action. We are building the processes, data systems, and frameworks enabling rapid decision-making across the organization and effective deployment of resources.

As a Business Analyst, Operational Finance, you’ll be the analytical bridge between our factories and our financial model. You’ll own core operational and financial reporting, help define the metrics that matter, and explain what’s driving changes in unit economics, throughput, and cost. Day to day, you’ll partner with Accounting, Factory Operations, Special Projects, and Automation to turn production data into clear insights and practical recommendations that shape how Hadrian runs and grows its factories.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the analytical bridge between Factory Operations and Operational Finance, owning core reporting, defining the KPIs that matter, and building tools that help the broader Finance team move faster.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking core operational and financial metrics including cost per part, throughput, utilization, and variance vs. plan.
  • Perform variance and driver analysis to explain changes in revenue, cost, and unit economics to Finance and Operations leadership.
  • Support quoting workflows by connecting pricing assumptions to actual cost performance, helping the team understand where margin is won or lost.
  • Partner with Accounting during month-end and quarter-end close to ensure accurate operational inputs, clean reconciliations, and clear documentation of assumptions.
  • Support the broader Finance team with ad hoc analysis and data pulls that feed into strategic planning, investor updates, and executive decision-making.
  • Actively identify and reduce manual work in reporting and analysis through automation, better process design, and improved tooling.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or other technical discipline
  • 1-3+ Years of professional experience in finance, analytics, & or consulting
  • Proficient in SQL, able to independently write and troubleshoot queries without relying on others to pull data
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Superset, or similar
  • Strong communication skills with ability to partner cross-functionally and think strategically about spend and operational bottlenecks
  • Experience working with an ERP system (e.g. Netsuite, SAP, or similar)

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience working in a scaling manufacturing or hardware-focused company
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where scope is defined by you as much as anyone else
  • Exposure to working alongside Data teams and a basic understanding of how data moves from source systems to reporting
  • Exposure to financial modeling or 3-statement fundamentals

Compensation

For this role, the target salary range is $119,500- $155,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).
