Business Analyst

The Business analyst (BAs) are responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using analytical techniques to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven system and process changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyse, and communicate systems requirements and maintain systems processes.
• Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems, processes and controls through evaluation of real-time data.
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems ensuring maximum usability
• Author and maintain internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
• Partner with stakeholders at all levels across the business to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way.
• Serve as thought leader for technical business processes.

Your knowledge and experience

• 8+ years of excellent Functional/System Analysis skills in a fast-paced environment, leading requirements gathering and solution design for complex implementations.
• Confidence working with complex data and systems with strong understanding of IT systems including system design, information architecture, and system interfaces. Confidence working with complex data and systems
• Solid understanding of Agile Project concepts with demonstrable experience of implementing change in an agile environment.
• Experience with:
  • Process mapping using BPMN
  • UML
  • Data modelling
  • User stories and acceptance criteria
• Knowledge and experience in the financial sector is a pre-requisite, clearing and settlement knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation
• Experience with tools such as Confluence and JIRA are preferred.
• This role is a temporary position in the Netherlands for a period of 12 months, with possibility for permanent
