About Us
Rho is the all-in-one banking platform for startups and the accountants who support them. With banking set up in minutes, 2% cashback cards, and powerful tools for managing spend, paying bills, and closing the books, Rho helps high-growth startups move fast and stay focused—with support that goes to the ends of the earth to help you win.
About the Role
Rho is hiring a Brand Creative Strategist to concept and launch founder-first campaigns that drive visibility, shift perception, and make Rho the obvious financial partner for early-stage startups.
This isn’t a brand systems or visual identity role—the foundation is set. Your job is to make it resonate. You’ll craft high-impact creative that changes behavior. Think campaigns that earn attention, build belief, and help Rho win mindshare in a crowded, fast-moving category.
Each quarter, you’ll develop big ideas—from sharp insights to bold execution—that show up across social, out-of-home, digital, and IRL. You’ll also stay nimble, spinning up timely, tactical creative that responds to the moment: funding cycles, market shifts, founder behavior. The right headline at the right time can win a deal—you’ll help us write it.
You’ll join a lean, mighty internal brand studio that runs like an in-house agency: part strategist, part writer, part creative director, part operator. We move fast. We value ideas that ship. And we care deeply about craft.
You might be a rising CD or senior creative ready to lead bold work—and own the kind of campaigns that open doors for years to come. If you’ve ever wanted to launch the next great fintech campaign, this is your shot.
You’re plugged into startup culture. You read founder blogs. You listen to All-In, 20VC, or Not Boring. You get energy from what early teams are building—and you bring that curiosity and edge into every idea you make.
Responsibilities
Own and lead Rho’s brand campaigns, pitching and building quarterly creative that speaks directly to startup founders
Turn strategy into action—translate company goals into sharp briefs, then develop bold ideas that shift perception and drive behavior
Write smart, founder-relevant copy that’s clear, memorable, and built for attention across digital, physical, and social surfaces
Move fast when it counts, spinning up timely creative aligned with launches, funding cycles, and cultural moments
Partner with the Head of Brand Design to bring ideas to life across every channel—from social to OOH to on-the-ground activations
Collaborate across teams—Marketing, Product, Growth, Community, and Events—to integrate brand creative into go-to-market plays
Operate as a senior IC—you’ll lead campaigns end-to-end without needing a full team behind you
Present your work with confidence, tying big ideas to strategic goals and delivering with clarity to senior leadership
Track impact using brand-relevant metrics, including search interest, awareness lift, engagement, and founder feedback
Raise the creative bar, offering sharp critique and hands-on support to keep execution high-quality and founder-aligned
Bring deep founder and VC fluency—your instincts reflect how early-stage teams think, move, and make decisions
Qualifications
6–10 years of creative experience, with a mix of agency and in-house work across campaigns, not just brand systems
Naturally plugged into tech and startup culture—you listen to founder podcasts, follow product launches, and get energy from what early-stage teams are building
Comfortable working in founder-first environments where speed, clarity, and resonance matter more than polish or process
Portfolio of integrated campaigns that show original thinking, strong execution, and message–audience fit
Excellent copywriting skills, with a voice that’s clear, sharp, and tuned to startup founders
Deep understanding of the startup and VC world—you’ve lived it, served it, or studied it closely
Proven ability to translate business goals into high-impact creative ideas
Strategic and conceptual—you lead with insight, then bring it to life creatively
Comfortable making complex financial topics engaging, relevant, and easy to understand
Strong creative judgment, with the ability to build, evaluate, and refine independently
Collaborative mindset, with high executional standards and a bias toward action
Entrepreneurial energy—you move quickly, think big, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
