Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team in our Málaga office, with experience in frameworks like Spring / Spring Boot and real-time data processing (Kafka Streams / Flink).

Our team’s mission is to provide an event-driven framework based on Kafka and Kafka Streams for real-time data processing. This enables the bank to have a global real-time view and to trigger automations or alerts when necessary.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing applications and components

• Building and deploying services

• Writing unit tests

• Debugging and fixing issues

• Driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if you love technology, want to understand the risks a bank faces, are constantly learning new tools and technologies, and care about developing both your technical and soft skills.

• Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging systems (Kafka and/or Kafka Streams)

• Java with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks

• Relational databases

• Version control using Git

• RESTful services

• Containerized deployments (Kubernetes)

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Drools

• React

• Python

• ElasticSearch

• Public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
