Role Description

Very AI is looking for a Researcher to explore the foundations of authenticity in the digital world. You will work at the intersection of AI, media, and truth, developing insights and methods that strengthen our Proof-of-Reality platform. This role will also play a key part in shaping Very AI’s external voice by representing our work publicly, contributing to thought leadership, and helping define the broader conversation around digital authenticity.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct research related to authenticity, detection, and verification
• Analyze data, media, and AI-generated content to surface insights
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate findings into features
• Represent Very AI publicly through writing, speaking, and online discourse (on X, at events, and in published articles)
• Track emerging research across AI, information integrity, and digital provenance

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of background in research, specializing in AI/ML, deepfake, or authentication
• Experience with data analysis, detection models, computer vision, or cognitive science
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity about truth, identity, and media in the AI era
• Ability to work independently and think creatively across disciplines
