We are seeking a talented Junior Risk Analyst with a strong background in trading data analysis to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our senior risk analysts to analyze trading risk data, craft insightful reports, conduct sophisticated attribution analysis, and diligently monitor daily data tasks pertaining to trading risk. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to leverage cutting-edge AI tools to enhance these functions. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the risk team in preemptively identifying potential market risks, such as challenges stemming from insufficient market liquidity, and providing timely early warning alerts.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the meticulous cleaning, analysis, and interpretation of trading risk data to uncover crucial trends and patterns.
• Develop comprehensive reports and dynamic dashboards to effectively communicate trading risk analysis findings to the team.
• Perform detailed attribution analysis to gain deep insights into the underlying drivers of trading risk within the organization.
• Utilize state-of-the-art AI tools to optimize data analysis procedures and drive operational efficiency.
• Monitor trading risk data on a daily basis, promptly identifying anomalies or potential risks and alerting senior analysts accordingly.
• Collaborate proactively with the team to refine trading risk management strategies and streamline processes.
• Support in conducting forward-thinking research on market risks and pioneering early warning systems tailored to trading risk.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in risk management, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• Possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in risk data analysis, ideally within the realm of risk management or financial services, with a specific focus on trading risk.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of trading risk metrics, including Value at Risk (VaR), Stress Testing, and Scenario Analysis.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis using tools such as Excel, Python, or SQL.
• Showcase expertise in leveraging data visualization tools and creating engaging reports.
• Possess strong analytical prowess and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment and excel in fostering synergistic relationships.
• Familiarity with AI tools and techniques is considered a significant asset.
